There aren’t too many bridges in the world that you can climb, but Story Bridge in Brisbane offers adventure climbs day and night.
The climb begins and ends in Kangaroo Point near the base of the bridge.

Abseil Down the Cliffs

Abseil down the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
Kids 8+ can participate.
All equipment is provided, and guests are trained before abseiling down. Pending time, participants can abseil down the cliffs multiple times during the 1.5-hour abseiling session.
My daughter has abseiled the Kangaroo Point Cliffs twice, while my son has been once, due to age.
Eat Delicious Croissants

Don’t forget to stop at Christian Jacques, an authentic French Bakery in Kangaroo Point. Leave time to line up, as Christian Jacques is a popular spot for morning pastries.
Croissant options include butter croissants, pan au chocolate, Nutella, almond, and custard, as well as savory options such as ham & cheese, bacon & goat cheese, and three-cheese croissants.
Bread and pastries are also available at Christian Jacques.
There isn’t seating at the bakery, so take your treat to go and find a spot overlooking the Brisbane River to enjoy your breakfast.
Christian Jacques doesn’t serve coffee, so stop by Moonshine Coffee nearby to pick up your drink.
