Brisbane Hotels that Offer Day Passes for their Swimming Pools this Summer
Brisbane summers are hot, and public pools can get crowded. For those who want a more exclusive place to swim, some of Brisbane’s top hotels have opened up their swimming pools to the public with a day pass.
That’s right, you don’t have to shell out the cash for a night at any of these Brisbane hotels; you can pay a day rate to use their pool.
Some of these Brisbane hotels offer day passes to use their pool anytime, while others only offer up their pools on specific days.
What are you waiting for? Put on your swimmers and sunscreen and go cool off at one of Brisbane’s best hotel pools without even needing to book a night’s stay.
Some hotels have yet to update their information for the summer.
Keep reading to find out which Brisbane hotels offer a day pass for their swimming pool.

The Star Grand Hotel
The Star Grand Hotel is offering a day pass to their rooftop pool for the 2025/2026 summer season.
They have 3 infinity-style pools, river views, day beds, and poolside service.
Access and a drink (alcohol or a mocktail) is $29 per person from Monday to Thursday and $55 per person from Friday to Sunday. This deal is for those 18+ only.
If you are a guest at the Treasury or Queen’s Wharf residencies, you can purchase a day pass for $20 per adult, or $5 per child aged 5-17. Younger kids can swim for free.
Couple and group deals are available as well. Check out the deals before you decide which one to purchase.
The Calile

It’s not cheap, but you can purchase a 9-to-5 day pass to The Calile that includes access to the pool, parking, use of the hotel facilities, and an Urban Room for 2 guests for $350.
This deal is only available from Mondays to Thursdays.
A similar deal is available on Sundays. For $375, you get the same inclusions from 12 pm until 8 pm.
Lina Rooftop
Check out the special event dates for St. Tropez Baia Pool Club at Lina Rooftop. The pool is also open each Monday from 12 pm until “late.”
The pool deck is 18+.
Pullman Brisbane Airport
It isn’t just a summer-time deal; you can book a day rate at the Pullman Brisbane Airport year-round and use the hotel’s amenities, including the pool.
Starting at $195, you get a room to use from 9 am until 5 pm.
Hyatt Regency

In previous years, each Sunday during the summer, you could buy your way into the swimming pool at Hyatt Regency for just $20 per person.
Entry included a drink and access to the infinity pool from midday until sunset.
Additional drinks and food are available at Hibiscus Bar and Terrace at Hyatt Regency Brisbane.
As of the end of November 2025, this deal has not been offered.
The Westin
This information was true in 2024. I am waiting to hear about the summer deal for 2025.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the summer months (now until the end of April), The Westin offers a day pass to their swimming pool.
General pool access includes the use of a towel along with a drink.
Another option is to book a cabana at The Westin. With access to the swimming pool, use of the cabana also includes a seafood platter, a bottle of rosé, and both still and sparkling water.
This summer, a floating breakfast experience is also available. Guests receive pool access and breakfast that they can eat while in the pool. The floating breakfast includes hot breakfast items as well as fruit, pastries, tea or coffee, juice, and a bottle of champagne.

W Brisbane
While the swimming pool at W Brisbane is not open for public access often, they do offer special events, including a Float in Cinema night.
Don’t expect to swim during W Brisbane’s movie night. They set up pool floats that take up just about all of the space in the pool.
The floating cinema at W Brisbane takes place one weekend at the end of summer. Tickets include a drink and a grazing box in addition to the use of their towels, in case you want to take a dip before or after the movie.
Another way to get into the pool at the W is to book a spa service at Away Spa.

Brisbane Hotels with Day Passes Wrap-Up
As you can see, there aren’t many options to purchase day passes at Brisbane hotels, but you can only swim at one pool at a time.
On weekends, anyone can pay a set price to spend the day at one of Brisbane’s best hotels without having to stay overnight. Sometimes, you can enjoy a hotel pool with a day pass on a weekday.
Bring your friends, grab a cocktail, and enjoy a hot Brisbane summer day by the pool.
If there is a specific Brisbane hotel pool that you are hoping to get a day pass for, follow them on social media, as deals are often only offered there for a short time.
