Best Indoor Play Centres in Brisbane
Are you looking for the best indoor play centre in Brisbane?
Of course, it is dependent on your child(ren)’s age(s) and your location, but there are lots of amazing indoor play centres all around Brisbane, on both the north side and the south side.
While most locations have specific areas for babies and toddlers, some options are exclusively for the younger crowd.
Most indoor play centres require socks, with many requiring participants to wear their specific socks. You can not wear the socks of one indoor play centre into another, in most cases (especially those with trampolines).
Many of the indoor play centres in Brisbane have cafes that serve quick meals, drinks, and snacks.

Area 51

While their larger locations are outside Brisbane (in Underwood and Ipswich), Area 51 has a location at Westfield Garden City in Mount Gravatt.
Area 51 is geared towards kids up to 12 years old. They have separate areas for babies, as every age from 0 to 12 can play at Area 51.
Babies 0-2 can play in the Toddler Zone, while kids 3-12 can play everywhere except the Toddler Zone, with 1 exception. Kids ages 3 and 4 are not allowed to access the Super Climber, and kids 5+ are not allowed in the Toddler Zone.
Jungle Adventure Play

Jungle Adventure Play now has 2 Brisbane locations: Tingalpa and North Lakes.
Each play area at Jungle Adventure Play has a recommended age, and tickets are purchased per area. They can be purchased individually or as part of a package.
A junior play area is available for babies 6 months to 2 years old. The Jungle Time playground is for kids 2 to 8 years old.
Those 3+ can try the Jungle Jump, and anyone 4+ can participate in mini-golf. These are only available at the Tingalpa location.
Kids must be at least 5 years old to rock wall climb, and at least 6 years old to complete the ropes challenge called The Canopy.
They must also be 6+ to ride on The Hawk, the longest electric flying fox in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Jungle Adventure Play also has a ninja course, which is recommended for those 10+ at the Tingalpa location and 9+ at the North Lakes location.
Bounce

Bounce has a few locations in Brisbane, and they even took over what was once Urban Xtreme.
Formerly Urban Xtreme, Bounce Hendra has a zone for younger kids and lots of space for kids and teens to play.
The trampolines, ninja course, and laser tag are all included in general admission. You can add rock wall climbing, indoor skiing, and indoor snowboarding.
The Bounce locations in Macgregor and Tingalpa have lots of trampolines, rock wall climbing, a giant slide, laser tag, and more.
Tiddlywinks

One of the most unique indoor play centres that we have visited is Tiddlywinks, located in Nundah.
In addition to the indoor playground, Tiddlywinks hosts discos on their large dance floor, complete with disco lights and smoke machines.
If you are at Tiddlywinks with a baby, there are playpens and toys near the cafe. The indoor playground is aimed at kids ages 3 to 11, and there is also a toddler area.
Chipmunks Playland
An indoor playground for kids ages 0 to 11, Chipmunks has a few Brisbane locations, including Everton Park, Macgregor, and North Lakes.
Each Chipmunks Playland location has a dedicated zone for toddlers and babies. The mini zone is for kids ages 0 to 4.
Both the main zone and the slide zone are for kids ages 5 to 11.
Chipmunk’s locations always have a cafe and lots of seating.
Best Indoor Play Centres for Tweens
Bounce

Though my tweens are happy at any indoor play centre, Bounce is the most tween- and even teen-friendly in Brisbane.
Bounce Hendra is our favorite, with trampolines, a jump zone, a ninja course, laser tag, and rockwall climbing.
As a parent, I appreciate all the seating and the option of a cafe.
Wrap Up of the Best Indoor Play Centres in Brisbane
Of course, the best indoor play centre in Brisbane is debatable, and it most likely depends on your child’s age and your location.
Since we’ve moved to Brisbane, my kids have spent time at all of the above locations, except Play Maison and MiniBounce, as they are past the recommended age.
We have spent the most time at Bounce Hendra (especially back when it was Urban Xtreme). It is a great place to meet up with lots of friends.
My kids have attended parties at multiple Bounce locations, Tiddlywinks, and Area 51.
