More fun things to do at Chermside Aquatic Centre include leaping across lily pads and splashing in the kids’ area.
The waterpark at Chermside Aquatic Centre has an additional fee. Families with older kids can purchase the kids’ tickets to the waterpark and themselves tickets to the general pool if they do not want to go down the slides too.
General access includes a lap pool, an outdoor heated pool, and a heated indoor pool.
Chermside Waterpark is open from 10 am until 5 pm on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays during the summer.

We have visited the Chermside Aquatic Centre a few times and have even thrown an unofficial birthday party there. Sometimes, the adults get waterpark passes, but more often, we do not.

Usually, if my kids ask to go to a pool, they mean Newmarket Pool. We often meet up with friends there over the summer holidays. My kids don’t always want a wristband for the large slide; they are generally happy with the pools and splash pads.
