Brisbane Restaurants Serving Thanksgiving Dinner in 2025
For all of the Americans in Brisbane, or just those who like a good holiday meal, here is the updated list of restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner in Brisbane in 2025.
We moved to Australia in 2020, right before Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday. That first year, I made dinner on Thanksgiving, though it was difficult to find the proper ingredients.
Our second year in Australia, we moved to Brisbane, and I found out that multiple restaurants hosted a Thanksgiving dinner. We opted to eat at Reubans, which unfortunately closed soon after.
Since then, we have eaten a Thanksgiving meal in multiple restaurants in Brisbane. It seems like there are quite a few Brisbane restaurants that offer a special meal for American Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, Claw BBQ, where we had Thanksgiving dinner in 2023, has also shut down.

Creole Soul Kitchen

This year, Creole Soul Kitchen is once again serving Thanksgiving dinner all week, so it is the perfect place to go, especially if you are unable to enjoy the holiday meal on Thursday.
Creole Soul Kitchen released its 2025 holiday menu and plans to serve these specials from Monday to Friday during the week of Thanksgiving.
Their 2025 menu items include:
- Chicken-fried turkey breast with turkey gravy, ranch slaw, mash, and cranberry syrup
- Turducken Jambalaya, duck confit jambalaya, confit turkey wing, crispy chicken skin

Not only is Creole Kitchen serving Thanksgiving meals all week, but they also usually offer the most affordable Thanksgiving option in Brisbane. I have not seen a price list for 2025.
In 2022, we had Thanksgiving dinner at Creole Soul Kitchen, a Southern restaurant in Spring Hill.
Meals were about $30 per person with options including fried turkey, a smoked turkey leg, turkey gumbo, and turducken jambalaya.

Australian American Association
I couldn’t find any information on the Australian American Association’s Thanksgiving celebration for 2025. The following information is from past years. Reach out directly if you are interested in this holiday meal.
If you are looking for a Thanksgiving dinner option in Brisbane that does not fall on Thanksgiving Day, the Australian-American Association is hosting a dinner on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Held at the United Service Club in Spring Hill, the Australian-American Association’s Thanksgiving Dinner runs from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The meals cost $110 for members and $120 for non-members. There is a guest speaker as well as an MC for the event. Suits and evening wear are suggested.
Harvard Club of Australia
The Harvard Club is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner in The Member’s Dining Room at The Brisbane Club in Post Office Square on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. event.
Both members and guests can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner for $149(before November) or $159 a person. This includes a turkey dinner and a 3-hour drink package.
The menu includes orange-glazed turkey roulade, chestnut stuffing, smoked bacon Brussels sprouts, potato galette, and cranberry sauce.
As for drinks, there will be sparkling, red & white wines, a selection of beers, soft drinks, tea, and coffee.
There is a discount for groups of 8.
This is the fanciest Thanksgiving event in Brisbane, and the dress is a lounge suit or black tie for men and a gown or formal dress for women.
Walter’s Steakhouse
Walter’s Steakhouse served Thanksgiving meals in 2023, but they didn’t respond to my inquiry in 2024. I will keep checking back to see if they have a special meal in 2025.
The following information is for 2023.
Located on Alice Street in the Brisbane CBD, Walter’s Steakhouse offered a 3-course Thanksgiving dinner for $170.
Reservations began at 5 p.m.
The first course for Thanksgiving dinner at Walter’s Steakhouse included an option between a prawn cocktail and a signature cut of bacon.
While of course, turkey was available as the main course, you could also opt for Walter’s signature porterhouse.
Both main dishes included creamed spinach, maple-roasted yams, and char-grilled corn.
All Thanksgiving dinner meals at Walter’s end with a slice of pumpkin pie.
Thanksgiving Dinner in Brisbane Wrap-Up
As you can see, there are quite a few options for Thanksgiving dinner in Brisbane.
Though there are options, be sure to book early, as most of these events will sell out. If there is a certain time you want to eat Thanksgiving dinner, book it now.
Depending on your budget, there seems to be an option for everyone. The cheapest option I found is at Creole Soul Kitchen, and the most expensive Thanksgiving dinner option appears to be at Harvard Club of Australia.
There is even a Thanksgiving buffet this year at Claw BBQ on King Street, which is great for families that do not want to wait for their meals.
If you do not feel like making your own Thanksgiving meal, don’t worry, Brisbane restaurants have you covered!
