Mount Tinbeerwah Lookout with Kids
Have you been thinking about hiking up to the Mount Tinbeerwah Lookout with kids?
I enjoy hiking, especially when it is not too hard, and the weather is nice. Since we have been living on the Sunshine Coast, we have tried to do a few quick hikes with the kids, even though it feels like summer.
Hopefully, we will continue to hike as the weather gets cooler because it is not only good exercise but a fun way to spend time as a family and discover new places.
Mark spotted the lookout one day and decided to take us on the way to the playground. He did not realize that the lookout is a bit of a walk from the car park, he had thought we would be able to drive up.

Hiking Mount Tinbeerwah

Mount Tinbeerwah is located in Tewantin National Park.
After driving up a dirt road, there are two places where you can walk to look at the view. One is only 260m and is pram and wheelchair-friendly.
We opted to take the other path, which is 1 kilometer.
As it is up the mountain, it is uphill on the way there and downhill on the way back. There are two benches along the way. I only noticed them because we had just about reached the first bench when Z asked if there were any benches on this walk.

M was in school today, but I know this would be another approved hike. There were a few paths, some stairs, and most importantly, rocks to climb.
The sign says it takes about 45 minutes, but even after stopping at the top for a few minutes and walking pretty slowly, it only took us 30.

Noosa River Pirate Playground

After our hike, we went to the Noosa River Pirate Playground.
Z didn’t even want to play on the playground and happily dug in the sand and then cooled off in the water.
