Things to Do in Brooklyn When it Rains
Go to a Museum
Brooklyn Museum
Spend a few hours on a rainy day wandering through the Brooklyn Museum.
The museum has both general admission tickets and ticketed exhibits. Check their site to see their current ticketed exhibit to determine if you should purchase a ticket.
While it is recommended that tickets be purchased online in advance, if tickets are still available, they will be sold at the museum.
There is a restaurant located inside the Brooklyn Museum, so you do not have to head out into the rain for lunch or a snack.
I have visited the Brooklyn Museum a few times, including taking students on a field trip. It is a large museum, and it’s all but guaranteed that there will be an exhibit you are interested in.
